Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox then began to work on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. Her first album, Now I Letting You Go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva, which featured a number of successful tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit. |
