Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor popular as the actor of Mystique as the protagonist from the first of three episodes of X-Men. Romijn was also a part of an additional Marvel superhero film called 'The Punisher In which she played the character 'Joan'. Romijn, who began her modeling career during the beginning of the 1990s, has modeled in top fashion houses like Christian Dior and Victoria's Secret. It was a long time that she modelled for fashion houses of the big leagues but then resigned from that area of profession to concentrate on her acting profession. Romijn has enjoyed a much better job on television than Hollywood. She was "Alexis Mead" in the comedy/drama series "Ugly Betty" as well as later was the character "Jessie Nichols" in the series NTSF SD SUV.
